Meaning: (Approximate):
P: I pray (“bhajEham”) to shri mahAgaNapatim, who is the son (“Atmajam”) of Shiva, and the elder brother (“Agrajam”) of Shanmugha.
A: He is worshipped (“sEvitam” by all beings (“shrta gaNa”). He destroys (“nAshakam”) obstacles (“vighna”) in our lives. He gives (“dAyakam”) boons (“vara”) and blessings (“prasAda”) very quickly (“shIgra”).
C1: He is adorned (“Alankrtam”) by the symbol (“mudrA”) called Knowledge (“jnAna”). He resides in (“nivAsinam”) the mUlAdhAra chakra ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muladhara) kshetra in the body.

శూల మంగళం సిస్టర్స్ : జయలక్ష్మి, రాజలక్ష్మి . Carnatic musicsister-pair vocalists and musicians known for their devotional songs in Tamil. They were early singers in the trend of duo singing in Carnatic music, which started in the 1950s, with performers like Radha Jayalakshmi, and later continued by Bombay Sisters, Ranjani-Gayatri, Mambalam Sisters, Bangalore Sisters and Priya Sisters
Born in Soolamangalam near Tanjore – a village with musical heritage, of Karnam Ramaswmai Ayyar & Janaki Ammal, the sisters had their training in music from K. G. Murthi of Soolamangalam, Pathamadai S.Krishnan, Mayavaram Venugopalayyar.
The duo-sisters were very popular for their matchless rendition of National and Devotional songs. They had a hectic practice for about three decades and were much sought after for providing background music in films. Their Kanda Shasti Kavasam album is very popular with the Lord Muruga devotees.
Whereas Rajalakshmi had more chance as a playback singer in films. Her voice suits all the categories of youthful, soft mellifluousness, evocative feelings, perfection of pronunciation and the best in devotional songs.

He was a noted philosopher, musicologist, political thinker and philanthropist and the Founder-President of Vishva Hindu Parishad (World Hindu Council).

He was a connoisseur of both western and Carnatic (South Indian classical) music and an acknowledged authority of Indian Philosophy. He helped the Western world discover the music of a little-known Russian composer Nikolai Medtner (1880–1951), financing the recording of a large number of his compositions and founding the Medtner Society in 1949. Medtner's Third Piano Concerto is dedicated to the Maharaja of Mysore. He became a Licentiate of the Guildhall School of Music, London and honorary Fellow of Trinity College of Music, London, in 1945. Aspirations to become a concert pianist were cut short by the untimely death of both his father the Yuvaraja Kanteerava Narasimharaja Wadiyar in 1939 and his uncle the Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV in 1940, when he succeeded the throne of Mysore.
